Portsea, Mornington Peninsula Solar: Portsea homes hot spot for solar and battery storage

We were engaged by this Mornington Peninsula resident to design and install a 3 phase solar system. This system has the the ability to easily retrofit a battery energy storage system which would provide back upo power on the essential loads in a grid outage (something that regularly occurs on the Mornington Peninsula) This 11kW solar system was designed by understanding the electrical usage profile of the home, including their pool heating and key time requirements, HVAC, and other key loads. The owner is now looking at battery storage to offset their overnight loads, and provide piece of mind during grid outages in the district.
