Local school gets solar and saves $500 per month!
Located in Seaford, Kananook Primary School engaged Island Energy's Mornington Peninsula solar and energy consultants to design, advise and install a 33kW solar PV system. Their school leaders including the principal undertook a tender project and Island Energy was awarded the contract. This government school has taken a massive step forward for their students, the local community and for their energy bills. The new solar system will not only offset their carbon footprint, but also reduce their power bill by 77% per annum.
