What is the Tesla Powerwall?
Powerwall is a rechargeable home battery system that stores energy from solar or the grid, which makes electricity available on demand. It can power your home during the night, or back up your home in the event of a power outage. With its built-in battery inverter, Powerwall is compact and easy to integrate into your home. As with all Tesla products, new features are added to Powerwall over time with over-the-air updates.
Mobile App
The Tesla app offers an all-in-one experience for you to manage your Tesla energy products from anywhere and at any time. To get started, download the Tesla app from the App Store or Google Play store and sign in to your Tesla Account.
Tesla Energy Plan customers: When connected to the Tesla Energy Plan, your settings options will be simplified as Tesla will monitor and manage your Powerwall in accordance to your homes needs through Time-Based Control and Virtual Power Plant modes.
